Grant Thornton Bahrain is expanding their team in Risk Assurance Compliance and Analytics Services; and looking to hire candidates who will assist clients in developing analytics and technology solutions to help them detect monitor and predict risk. As an integral member of the team candidate will be responsible in establishing the right controls processes and structures for our clients to ensure that decisions are based on accurate information and assure that information provided to third parties is accurate complete and can be trusted.

Primary Duties

• Implementation of strategy and compliance for sustainable finance frameworks.

• Advise corporate asset management and consumer banking units on ESG implementation.

• Support clients in setting and operationalizing their ESG strategies defining KPIs and frameworks for measuring and monitoring their impacts as well as carrying out assurance on ESG reports.

• Conduct ESG policy analyses and develop roadmaps and action plans for public sector clients.

• Conduct ESG readiness assessments and due diligence for businesses portfolios and projects.

• Evaluate options for including ESG mitigation and adaptation considerations in investment projects.

• Contribute to broader opportunities and assignments in other areas including identification and analysis of key ESG risks and opportunities and demonstrating how they can be mainstreamed.

• Support business developments to further expand ESGrelated services.

• Communicate with the decision makers of our clients (including governments international agencies industrial groups banks private equity companies shareholders and investors).

• In coordination with Director and Partners.

• Recognize and evaluate the materiality and significance of ESG related issues and recommend sustainable business approach and solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science sustainability business or related field.

• Minimum of five to six years professional experience with the Big 4.

• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks regulations and industry standards.

• High level of proficiency in data analysis and reporting and project management.

• Prior ESG compliance sustainability reporting and advisory or related role is an advantage.
