6th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 6th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher to join our team at Yeshiva Middle School. As a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of our students fostering their love for reading writing expression and American History.

Responsibilities

• Teach and deliver engaging Language Arts and Social Studies lessons to 6th grade students
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and fosters a love for learning
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
• Communicate with parents to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns

Requirements

• Three years of experience teaching at the middle school level
• Excellent instructional and classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Educator certification is a plus but not required
