Role Overview: We are seeking highly skilled Senior and Master CNE Software Engineers to join our clients team in Hawaii. This position requires toptier professionals with expertise in reverse engineering vulnerability research binary exploitation and CNE tool development. Candidates must hold a TS/SCI clearance and be passionate about advancing cybersecurity operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Reverse Engineering Vulnerability Research and Binary Exploitation:
    • Conduct indepth reverse engineering to understand the inner workings of software firmware and hardware components.

    • Perform vulnerability research to identify security weaknesses in systems and applications.

    • Utilize binary exploitation techniques to exploit identified vulnerabilities for security testing and development purposes.

  • CNE Tool Development:
    • Develop Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) tools tailored for covert communications and system interrogation.

    • Create and maintain a suite of tools to support intelligence operations and cybersecurity initiatives.

    • Ensure that CNE tools are robust secure and capable of operating in diverse environments.

  • Development of Android Mobile Applications:
    • Design and develop Android mobile applications to support various operational needs.

    • Implement secure coding practices to protect applications from potential threats.

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of mobile applications with other systems.

  • EnterpriseLevel Software Development Practices:
    • Apply best practices in software development to ensure the creation of highquality maintainable code.

    • Utilize version control systems continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

    • Participate in code reviews provide constructive feedback and foster a collaborative development environment.

  • Computer Networking:
    • Possess a strong background in computer networking including an understanding of network protocols topologies and security measures.

    • Configure and troubleshoot network devices to ensure optimal performance and security.

    • Implement network monitoring and intrusion detection/prevention systems to safeguard network infrastructure.

  • DoD Cybersecurity:
    • Ensure familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity policies standards and best practices.

    • Ensure all developed tools and applications comply with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

    • Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards.

  • Leadership and Strategic Vision (Master Level Specific):
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

    • Lead complex projects and guide the team in developing innovative solutions.

    • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in reverse engineering vulnerability research binary exploitation and CNE tool development.

    • Contribute to the strategic vision of the organization by identifying emerging threats and developing longterm solutions to address them.

    • Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of cybersecurity initiatives with organizational goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in relevant fields including reverse engineering vulnerability research and binary exploitation.

  • Proven experience in developing CNE tools including those for covert communications and system interrogation.

  • Preferably experienced in developing Android mobile applications with a focus on security.

  • Familiarity with enterpriselevel software development practices including agile methodologies and DevOps.

  • Strong background in computer networking with the ability to configure troubleshoot and secure network environments.

  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies standards and best practices.

  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

  • (Master Level Specific) Extensive experience and advanced skills in the relevant areas. Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to guide technical teams.

Location: This position is based in Hawaii. Onsite presence is required and remote work is not an option.
