Job Position: Data Analyst

Job Location: Porto

At PTC Group we are looking for a Data Analyst to join our client operating in the Digital Marketing sector focused on creating online content for partners around the globe.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Management

• Gather data from various sources such as databases surveys or external data providers.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the collected data.
• Clean and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis including handling missing values removing duplicates and correcting errors.

Data Analysis

• Use statistical techniques and software tools (e.g. Excel SQL R Python) to analyze data.
• Identify patterns trends and relationships within the data.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data distributions and anomalies.

Data Visualization

• Create visual representations of data findings using tools like Tableau Power BI or matplotlib in Python.
• Develop charts graphs and dashboards to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
• Customize visualizations to cater to different audiences from technical teams to executive leadership.

Reporting

• Prepare reports summarizing data analysis results and insights.
• Write clear concise and actionable reports that highlight key findings and recommendations.
• Present data findings to stakeholders through presentations or written documents.

Statistical Modeling and Forecasting

• Develop and apply statistical models to predict future trends or outcomes.
• Use regression analysis hypothesis testing and other statistical methods to validate findings.

DataDriven Decision Making

• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their data needs and objectives.
• Provide datadriven insights and recommendations to support business strategies and decisionmaking processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of business initiatives.

Data Governance and Compliance

• Ensure data privacy and security standards are met.
• Comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies regarding data usage and storage.

Requirements

• 2 years as a Data Analyst;
• Knowledge of business processes with analytical thinking;
• Experience with tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar platforms;
• Familiar with Data Engineering concepts prepared to work with technical teams;
• Fluency in Portuguese.

• Knowledge in the Digital Marketing and Media industry.
• Experience in Agile environments;
