Job Description

Overview:

The position of MBBS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) is crucial to the healthcare organization in Gujarat. The RMO plays a vital role in providing medical care to patients and supporting the overall functioning of the medical facility. They are responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of patients and assisting the medical team in delivering highquality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing roundtheclock medical care to patients
  • Assessing and managing emergency cases
  • Monitoring and recording patient vitals and medical records
  • Collaborating with consultants and specialists for patient treatment
  • Responding to code calls and medical emergencies
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Supervising junior medical staff
  • Conducting regular patient rounds and providing updates to consultants
  • Assisting in pre and postoperative care
  • Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and regulations
  • Participating in continuous medical education and training
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives
  • Coordinating with nursing and support staff for patient care
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Participating in departmental meetings and discussions

Required Qualifications:

  • MBBS degree from a recognized institution
  • Valid medical license from the Medical Council of India
  • 13 years of experience in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge of emergency medicine and patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a highpressure environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with medical recordkeeping and documentation
  • Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team
  • Commitment to upholding medical ethics and standards
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care
  • Capability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of medical equipment and technology
  • Adherence to infection control and safety protocols
