Job Description

Overview

The Social Media Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the social media team by creating engaging content implementing social media strategies and analyzing performance metrics. This remote position offers valuable handson experience in social media management and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media posts across various platforms
  • Assist in brainstorming and developing social media campaigns
  • Engage with followers and monitor social media communities
  • Research and curate content for social media channels
  • Analyze and report on social media performance metrics
  • Assist in the creation of visual and written content
  • Monitor trends in social media tools applications channels design and strategy
  • Contribute to the development of social media strategies
  • Support in managing and updating the social media content calendar
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support social media objectives
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Stay uptodate with social media best practices and technologies
  • Assist in the setup and optimization of social media advertising campaigns
  • Provide general support to the social media team
  • Contribute to the growth and expansion of social media presence

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program or recent graduate
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of major social media platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
  • Creative thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Experience with content creation and copywriting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media management tools
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of social media trends and best practices
  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is a plus
  • Passion for social media and digital marketing
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
