Job Description
- Able to identify opportunities (e.g. RFPs) and assess them based on the organizational needs, capacity, and vision.
- Contributes to the entire proposal development process, in coordination and alignment with various departments and team members.
- Supports the design of interventions and programs in collaboration with technical teams and is responsible for drafting different components of the proposals, such as: objectives/outcomes/activities, local context, implementation approach and plan, executive summaries, organization capacity statements, and past experience.
- Conducts research and contributes to drafting research reports such as market assessments, especially in the fields of community empowerment, livelihood, child protection, and women and youth empowerment.
- Prepares and conducts presentations, such as those highlighting the organization’s capacity and experience, and discussing the proposed project details.
- Ensure that templates and tools for proposal development are developed.
- Actively coordinate and participate in planning/status meetings to ensure proper adherence to good proposal management practices.
