Job Description
Position: Data Engineer (Streaming Scala Java GCP)
Location: Hybrid Sunnyvale CA
Required Skills: Java Scala Big Data Data Analysis Data Warehouse
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field plus five years of experience in computer programming software development or related areas is required.
- Additionally candidates should have over three years of robust Java experience and at least two years in designing implementing and supporting big data solutions in Hadoop using Hive Spark Drill Impala and HBase.
- Handson experience with Unix Teradata and other relational databases is necessary.
- Experience with @Scala is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills are essential.
