Job Title: Alternative Investments Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Alternative Investments Specialist to join our team and lead our efforts in identifying evaluating and managing alternative investment opportunities. The Alternative Investments Specialist will play a pivotal role in researching recommending and monitoring investments in nontraditional asset classes such as private equity hedge funds real estate commodities and structured products. This role requires strong analytical skills market knowledge and a deep understanding of alternative investment strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and due diligence on alternative investment opportunities assessing risks returns and suitability for client portfolios.
• Evaluate potential investments across various asset classes including private equity venture capital hedge funds real estate infrastructure and commodities.
• Analyze investment documents financial statements and performance metrics to make informed investment recommendations.
• Develop investment strategies and asset allocation models that incorporate alternative investments to enhance portfolio diversification and riskadjusted returns.
• Monitor and manage alternative investment portfolios tracking performance liquidity and market conditions to optimize investment outcomes.
• Maintain relationships with fund managers investment firms and industry experts to stay informed about market trends and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare investment proposals presentations and reports for clients stakeholders and investment committees.
• Collaborate with wealth managers financial advisors and clients to understand investment objectives and provide tailored investment solutions.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes tax implications and legal considerations related to alternative investments ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Educate clients and internal stakeholders on alternative investment strategies benefits and risks promoting understanding and informed decisionmaking.

Skills Required:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or related field (Masters degree CFA CAIA or similar certifications preferred).
• Proven experience as an Alternative Investments Specialist Investment Analyst or similar role with a minimum of 5 years in alternative investments.
• Strong knowledge of alternative investment strategies asset classes and market dynamics.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial modeling performance analysis and risk assessment of alternative investments.
• Experience with investment analysis tools databases and software (e.g. Bloomberg Morningstar Direct Preqin).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
