Part time-Dental Hygienist-Brooklyn-NY

A highly regarded Health Center in Brooklyn New York is seeking to hire a parttime Dental Hygienist for evening shifts. This position offers a salary starting with $60K per year and requires availability from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Sunday Thursday. Immediate hiring is prioritized for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain updated health histories for all returning patients to ensure accurate and current records
• Sterilize dental instruments properly
• Take Xrays and dental impressions
• Monitor supplies
• Perform oral health assessments
• Educate patients on oral care practices
• Assist dentists during procedures and
• Maintain strict compliance with State Federal and other regulations (e.g. OSHA WC Dental Board HIPAA ADA FEHA DOL HR policies and practices).

Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Hygiene from an accredited college or technical school
• Valid and current Registered Dental Hygienist NY license and
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
