Notes from client: Want to focus on PHP Symfony MySQL. The rest of the job description would be a plus Cloud DevOps AWS they are migrating to a React Node tech stack within a couple years. So if you found a React Developer who worked on PHP Symfony heavily in the past that would work out too.


Job Summary

Brinker is seeking a midcareer fullstack application developer to be part of the Digital Guest Experience (DGE) team. The DGE team is responsible for developing the digital tools that enable our guests to place orders online (for pickup or delivery) and to participate in our customer loyalty programs.

The application developer works on a system of digital tools that support the CRM and Loyalty functions for the Chilis and Maggianos brands. The system is comprised of cloudhosted web apps APIs batch jobs serverless functions relational databases and search indexes.

What You Will Need to Have:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of proven experience as a FullStack PHP Developer or similar role in a hybridcloud enterprise application environment.
• Comfortable working with relational database platforms such as MySQL including writing optimized queries and solving complex datarelated issues.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud and experience in implementing cloudnative solutions.
• Indepth knowledge of MVC frameworks (e.g. Symfony).
• Experience in building APIs and integrating with thirdparty APIs.
• Experience developing webbased UIs using JavaScript HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and automated CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g. GitHub Workflows Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of objectoriented programming principles common design patterns writing clean code and refactoring.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient with application performance monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch New Relic).

What Would Be Nice to Have:

• Experiencing building and deploying AWS resources (EC2s Hosted Zones Load Balancers S3 SQS Lambda) using CloudFormation Packer and Chef or similar tools.
• Experience programming with Python.
• Experience working on CRM and Loyalty systems.
• Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
