Job Tittle: Prototype & Process Development Sr. Technician
Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Permanent)
Location: Alpharetta GA 30004
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Description:
The Sr. Technician Prototype and Process Development will report to the Sr. R&D Machining & Prototyping Lab Manager and will be responsible for assisting with prototype development and testing EHS related activities Pilot and Production Line related equipment and processes and assisting with general technical needs in the Prototype and Pilot Lab spaces.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
- 510 years minimum experience as electromechanical technician in the medical device or automation industry
- AA or Journeyman degree or qualifications
- Experience with prototyping/device creation utilizing varied materials and methods.
- Experience with 3D printing including builds processing and maintenance.
- Experience with automation including builds maintenance modifications testing and integration (PLC Sensors Vision system)
- EHS experience including audits process drafting good laboratory practices and safety reviews.
- Working knowledge of CAD
- Expert knowledge of engineering drawings including mechanical and electrical (GD&T ANSI ISO)
- Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical tools.
- Working knowledge of testing and validation including DOE TMV IQ FAT SAT
- Strong analytical skills and problemsolving skills
- Use of precision measuring tools i.e. calipers micrometer depth gauge
- Solid knowledge of engineering principles scientific analysis and project management
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects across several locations.
