Job Description

Overview:

As an Interventional Cardiologist DM DNB Consultant you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with cardiovascular diseases. Your expertise in interventional procedures and clinical decisionmaking will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to the success of our cardiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing interventional cardiology procedures such as angioplasty stenting and atherectomy
  • Providing timely and accurate diagnosis for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patients specific needs
  • Ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards in all interventional procedures
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies
  • Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff and fellows
  • Participating in research and contributing to academic publications in the field of interventional cardiology
  • Collaborating with other specialists to provide integrated care for patients with comorbidities
  • Participating in community outreach programs to raise awareness about cardiovascular health
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of departmental protocols and guidelines
  • Utilizing electronic health records and other technology platforms effectively
  • Providing consultation services to other healthcare providers
  • Remaining updated with the latest advancements in interventional cardiology
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and ethical practices
  • Participating in oncall duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • DM or DNB in Cardiology
  • Board certification in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
  • Valid medical license and in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Interventional Cardiologist
  • Demonstrated expertise in interventional procedures such as angioplasty stenting and thrombectomy
  • Published research in the field of interventional cardiology
  • Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment
  • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
  • Proficiency in utilizing medical technology and electronic health records
  • Adherence to ethical and professional standards of practice
  • Strong commitment to patientcentered care and safety
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
