DevOps Engineer - Level 2

Job Title: DevOps Engineer Level 2

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration and deployment processes using tools like Ansible Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are designed for reliability and scalability.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement necessary optimizations and improvements.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the software development and deployment processes.
• Provide oncall support as needed to resolve critical issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python Bash or Ruby.
• Handson experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
