Job Description
Job Title: Simulation Engineer OR FEA/CAE Engineer
Location: Champaign IL
Job Description:
- This role will support the virtual product validation of earth movers & mining equipment. Key contributions will include FEA modeling analysis post processing and create report with lead support.
- Coordinate the FEA modeling from offshore
- Define the loads and boundary condition.
- Solve the model and debug (nonLinear problem)
- Create report and present the result to the customer.
Technical & Tool Skills:
- Good in result interpretation and proposing the new design based on the result. Machines with heavy structures experience is must.
- Good understanding of vibration and NonLinear Bolted joint analysis
Must have FEA Experience of 46 Years in the below tools. (CAE/FEA):
- Abaqus (Must)
- NX Nastran
- NX Modeling
- Hypermesh (Must)
- Python Scripting (Good to have)
Soft Skills:
- Solid Communication Skills Good Teamwork Skills Strong Initiative & Work Ethic.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in engineering Required Mechanical or equivalent.
