The Marketing Communication Officer is responsible for developing and executing the company's social media strategy, creating engaging content, and managing digital marketing campaigns. This role requires strong writing and design skills to produce visually appealing and compelling content across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the company's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation
Create and curate high-quality content (e.g., posts, videos, infographics) tailored for different social media channels
Monitor social media trends and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and campaigns
Collaborate with the design team to ensure a cohesive brand identity and visual aesthetic across all digital platforms
Manage and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback on social media in a timely and professional manner
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, algorithms, and platform updates
Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to align social media activities with broader marketing and business objectives
Measure and report on the success of social media initiatives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation
Proficient in using social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and social media management tools
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging, on-brand content
Familiarity with graphic design principles and experience using design software
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on social media analytics and performance data
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
Adaptable and proactive in responding to changes in the digital marketing landscape
