Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in PHP programming language, Laravel framework, Node.js, and Machine Learning to join our Web & App Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications that meet our clients’ needs. You must have a strong understanding of the latest PHP versions and best practices, as well as proficiency in the Laravel framework. Experience in writing and implementing unit tests for PHP, Laravel, Node.js applications, and Machine Learning models is also required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP, Laravel, and Node.js
• Integrate Machine Learning models into web applications to enhance functionality
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Handle database design, optimization, and querying using MySQL
• Ensure data security and integrity in the database management process
• Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS), such as EC2, S3, and Lambda to deploy, manage, and scale applications
• Write and implement unit tests for PHP, Laravel, and Node.js applications
• Debug and fix application issues as they arise
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field

Requirements:

• Expertise in PHP programming language and its latest versions and best practices
• Proficiency in the Laravel framework
• Experience with Node.js and its ecosystem
• Knowledge of Machine Learning principles and experience in integrating ML models into applications
• Experience in writing and implementing unit tests for PHP, Laravel, and Node.js applications
• Experience in working with MySQL and handling database design, optimization, and querying
• Knowledge of database management and ensuring data security and integrity
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
• Ability to deploy, manage, and scale applications on the AWS platform
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
