Summary: The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining solutions that enable seamless data exchange and system integration across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of interoperability standards and protocols as well as strong programming skills.
Responsibilities: - Design develop and optimize ETL processes utilizing Databricks to ensure data flow across diverse systems.
- Utilize integration frameworks and technologies such as Spark Scala Java RESTFUL APIs SOAP and XML.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve interoperability solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Implement DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines).
- Develop and implement interoperability solutions to integrate disparate systems.
- Ensure data exchange processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Document technical designs system architecture and integration processes.
- Solid understanding of database management systems SQL and DataBricks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python React JS or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g. GCP AWS Azure).
- Good understanding and working experience with Agile methodology.
- Understand the importance of quality and infosec processes.
- Develop and maintain API integrations and services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications: - Around 4 to 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on interoperability and system integration.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or standards are desirable.
