About the role Welcome to a world where ambitions fly high! We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be part of our Product Development & Design Division as Senior Specialist Customer Experience Design - Digital in Doha. As the Senior Specialist Customer Experience Development – Digital, you will be responsible to the Manager Customer Experience Design - Digital in the overall management of designing the digital customer experience across all touchpoints at Qatar Airways. Constantly developing, reviewing, evaluating, recommending and continuously improving the digital customer experience for our customers. This position will be responsible for ideating & providing digital solutions across the airlines’ customer experience touchpoints through innovative thinking, exploring and investigating other airlines, and other app developers to review current market trends and providing solutions benefiting the organization. Some of the tasks include: • Work closely with respective business stakeholders such as Cabin Services, Catering Services, Ground Services, Lounges Representatives, Digital, Commercial and other business units to understand and capture their problem statement, identify opportunities and convey them to IT technical team into technical specifications, design and business/scope requirements • Oversee the development/implementation process of digital solutions, including scoping, planning, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the application. Ensuring compliance with safety, security, privacy, and other regulatory requirements are met. • Responsible of ensuring consistency and quality of standards and processes are implemented and adhered across the team, during the entire process of software development/implementation. • Organize sessions to establish UX, UI, back-end deliverables, ensuring delivery is in line with standards and expectations.
