Experience: Overall minimum 15 years in substation related works including testing/commissioning & technical site support.

JOB Description:

Relevant experience in coordination of project engineering activities for substations in electrical domain. The candidate should have knowledge of GIS substations including design calculations, switchgears, transformers, protection & control, layout and should be experience in coordination of interfaces with Civil and MEP. Experience in technical support activities and preparation of method statements, review of test report for site works – installation, testing and commissioning – is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Day to day coordination of project engineering activities in Bahrain including attending the physical and online meetings with customer, consultants, HE engineers, project manager, suppliers’ engineers to secure documents approvals as per project schedule. Regular visits for physical meetings to Client/Consultant office will be required for meetings and follow up. Clarifications/explanation of design aspects to consultants to secure the document approvals.

Location: Bahrain

Project details: Coordination of Installation, testing and commissioning of transformer/reactor and associate fire firefighting system for these equipment

Duration of contract: 6 months but can be considered for extension if the candidate has good experience in site technical coordination activities.
