Job Description

Job Description:

The Compliance Specialist will ensure that our company adheres to legal standards and inhouse policies. You will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as providing guidance on compliance matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
  • Research and stay updated on compliance and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
  • Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to senior management.
  • Advise management on the companys compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Regularly review and update company policies.
  • Train and educate employees on regulatory changes and company policies.
  • Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
  • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation of the compliance program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance role.
  • Indepth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
