Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Develop and implement respiratory care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer treatments and therapies such as oxygen therapy nebulization and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and selfcare techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• State licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT).
• Strong knowledge of respiratory medications equipment and therapies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.

Work Environment:

• Hospitals clinics longterm care facilities and home healthcare settings.
• Often involves working with patients of all ages with varying respiratory conditions.
