Job Description
Job Title: PostAnesthesia Care RN (PACU)
Location: Augusta GA 30901
Duration: 1 Year or Full time (options for 26 weeks contract)
Start Date: August 2024
Shift Schedule: Options for 8 / 10 / 12 hours
Responsibilities:
- Assume a patient care assignment for a group of patients
- Assessment and care of patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses and with a wide range of treatment modalities
- Care of patients requiring special precautions such as isolation
- Inserting and maintenance of peripheral lines
- Maintaining central lines for administration of intravenous fluid
- Providing emergency care as indicated
- Administration of medications (oral subcutaneous intramuscular and intravenously) and blood products Verification of physician orders
Qualification:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or in related field or a masters degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred
License: Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA
Certifications: BLS ACLS
Experience: Minimum 3 years current (must have worked within the last 6 months) experience in post anesthesia care.
