Project Manager 3

Hi!

I have a new role I need some help with its for a Project Manager 3 with the State of Maine. This role is 100% remote but candidates must reside of the East Coast. All candidates must have State government experience. All candidates must be sent with a valid drivers license as well. All visas are welcomed but US citizens and green carded holders are preferred. Skill 1 In depth knowledge/understanding of the PM methodology and a broad understanding/awareness of SDLC methodologies
Skill 2 Experience within state government
Skill 3 Experience working with multiple teams
Required Skill Set/Skill Level/Experience Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a bachelors degree with five years of project management experience. In depth knowledge/understanding of the PM methodology and a broad understanding/awareness of SDLC methodologies. Strong understanding of government organization is preferred. Strong ability to work effectively in a business and technical environment. Effectively uses technical project management tools. Strong initiative and ability to set stretch goals. Strong ability to negotiate effectively with business and IT partners on business requirements and timeframes on midsize initiatives. Strong ability to rally support among peers and work effectively within challenging situations. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to balance the need to gather detail with the need to solve the problem. Strong ability to identify and apply different communication mediums based on a content and audience at all levels (both internal and external to
Maine gov) to achieve intended goal. Advanced PC skills required (Excel Power Point Word etc.) Preference given individuals that have experience with managing Vendors
