Job Description

Overview

The BAMS/BHMS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) plays a vital role in providing medical care to patients at the Savar Kundla location in Gujarat. They are responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of patients and contributing to the smooth functioning of the medical facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Conducting patient consultations and providing appropriate treatment and medication.
  • Monitoring and assessing the ongoing health status of patients.
  • Participating in ward rounds and providing updates on patient progress.
  • Assisting in emergency medical situations and providing immediate care and intervention.
  • Collaborating with medical and nonmedical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and updated medical records for all patients.
  • Adhering to medical best practices and safety standards in all procedures.
  • Providing guidance and support to nursing and support staff as needed.
  • Remaining informed about the latest medical developments and treatments.
  • Assisting in the implementation of healthcare programs and initiatives.
  • Communicating effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Participating in continuous training and development programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical laws regulations and ethical standards.
  • Contributing to a positive and professional working environment.
  • Participating in regular medical staff meetings and contributing insights and recommendations.

Required qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Ayurvedic Medicine (BAMS) or Homeopathic Medicine (BHMS).
  • Registered with the Medical Council of India or the respective state medical council.
  • Minimum of 13 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to make swift and accurate decisions in highpressure situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in medical record keeping and documentation.
  • Sound knowledge of medical laws ethics and protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology and electronic medical records systems.
  • High level of empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  • Dedication to providing highquality and compassionate medical care.
