Overview

Key responsibilities

• Interpret medical images such as Xrays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds to diagnose illnesses and injuries
• Consult with referring physicians to discuss patients medical histories and determine the best imaging techniques for their cases
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of radiology reports and communicate findings effectively to other healthcare professionals
• Supervise and train radiologic technologists and other staff in performing imaging procedures
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment plans
• Adhere to patient safety and radiation protection protocols
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide guidance and support to other medical staff in understanding and interpreting imaging results
• Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Medical Degree with MD in Radiology
• Board certification in Radiology (DNB/DMRD)
• Licensure to practice as a Radiologist in Delhi
• Proven experience as a Radiologist Consultant in a diagnostic setting
• Expertise in interpreting Xrays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds
• Strong understanding of radiology procedures and medical imaging techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medical image interpretation
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
• Uptodate knowledge of radiology advancements and best practices
• Sound clinical judgment and decisionmaking abilities
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Understanding of radiation safety and protection measures
