Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate a range of teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles.
• Develop and implement an IB MYP curriculum that aligns with the programs objectives and standards.
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies to encourage critical thinking and ethical reasoning among students.
• Integrate realworld examples and case studies to illustrate the relevance of social science concepts.
• Assess and monitor students progress through formative and summative evaluations.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a coherent and connected learning experience for students.
• Encourage an appreciation for global perspectives and intercultural understanding within the classroom.
• Organize and supervise experiential learning opportunities such as field trips and community projects.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in IB education and social science pedagogy.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Education Social Sciences or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification/license in relevant jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching IB MYP Individual and Society/Social Science courses.
• Indepth understanding of the IB MYP framework and its principles.
• Proven ability to integrate technology into the teaching and learning process.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive classroom environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Proficiency in assessment and datadriven instructional planning.
• Commitment to promoting internationalmindedness and a global perspective.
• Experience in curriculum development and unit planning.
