Job Description:

The Welder will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures and components using Stick welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail excellent handeye coordination and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Job Duties:

• Performs welding tasks using various techniques such as Stick.
• Reads and interprets blueprints schematics and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Sets up and operates welding equipment selecting appropriate settings and tools for each job.
• Fabricates and assembles metal structures and components according to specifications.
• Uses cutting torches grinders and other hand and power tools to prepare materials for welding.
• Ensures all welded joints are strong and meet quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in basic math required.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to read write and understand English.
• Should be capable of sitting climbing stooping and kneeling as required.
