Product Analysis: Analyse product performance, usage data, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation.
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer needs.
Backlog Management: Create and maintain a well-defined and prioritized product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tasks.
Prioritization: Make informed decisions on feature prioritization based on business value, user feedback, market research, and development constraints.
Wireframing: Develop wireframes and prototypes to visualize product features and functionality, facilitating clear communication and collaboration with development teams and stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless product development process.
Release Planning: Plan and coordinate product releases, setting clear goals and expectations for each release.
Quality Assurance: Define and communicate product requirements and acceptance criteria to the QA team to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Communication: Clearly communicate product goals, progress, and updates to all stakeholders, including executives, development teams, and sales and marketing.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a diploma/certificate in a relevant discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within the tech industry.
Industry Knowledge: Experience with software products or solutions in the financial services, banking, or fintech industries, especially Digital Account Opening, Customer Onboarding, and Fraud Risk Management, would be advantageous.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to inform product decisions and recommendations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in product/project management, documentation, and wireframing tools and software.
Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and principles.
Ability to create detailed wireframes and prototypes to communicate product features and design effectively.
