Job Description

Operational Accountabilities • Monitors cargo build and break process activities through system interrogation that each step during cargo terminal operations is adhered to agreed processes to ensure aviation compliance • Manages and prioritize resources for flight manifesting based on operational demands ensuring flights are built as per Revenue Management Cargo Offer maximizing aircraft space • Maintains a high level of performance of staff and equipment by constantly making physical / actual checks to ensure its compliance with agreed processes. • Tracks time sensitive events and assignments related to charter flights and trial platforms through • CROAMIS and ALT EA to ensure timely completion so the normal operational flow remains intact within targets set either by the customer or the airline for items such as local restrictions, curfew flights, quick turnaround times and adhoc disaster relief. • Verifies, through spot-checks, that all cargo practices support corporate Security and Safety standards 100% of the time. • Acts as the point of contact for all Airline queries and respond to complaints and requests for information and assistance, interpret and explain procedures and policies pertaining to internal inquiries of management and staff. • Investigates any instances where shipments have not 'Flown as Booked' in terms of Revenue Protection for the airline to identify the process gap and initiate required corrective action. • Monitors and coordinates activities outside warehouse including export cargo acceptance, import cargo deliveries, pallet build up and breakdowns to ensure all shipments throughout the Cargo journey is in line with the agreed SLA's set • Liaises with airline representatives, security, customs, related government agencies and other parties involved as required or necessary to allow single point of contact ensuring to maintain operational control. • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department. Qualifications Qualification and Experience • Vocational Diploma or Associate Degree (based on role) with minimum 6 years of job-related experience. • Or Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 years job related experience Job Specific Skills • Managerial Skills • Experience in handling Dangerous Goods / Live Animals • Command over Fundamentals of Load Control • Computer and systems literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
