BI Developer
Location: Fremont CA United States (Hybrid )
Contract Duration: 6 months
Eligibility: Must be a Green Card OR US Citizen (Due to previous issues eligibility will be verified)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a highly skilled and Certified BI Developer with at least 15 years of experience in BI development to join our team at Nextracker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building out visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau developing and managing reports dashboards and other BI solutions and ensuring highquality data through optimized ETL processes. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements provide training and integrate BI solutions with other systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive reports dashboards and BI solutions.
- Create engaging and informative visualizations to support business decisionmaking.
- Maintain documentation for BI solutions and ensure their accuracy and relevance.
- Design develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Implement and monitor data integration workflows and data pipelines.
- Maintain and enhance BI solutions ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to establish and adhere to data management best practices.
- Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide training and support to endusers to maximize the effectiveness of BI solutions.
- Integrate BI solutions with other enterprise systems to streamline data flows and reporting capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in BI development with a proven track record in developing and managing BI solutions reports and dashboards.
- Industryspecific experience in supply chain manufacturing or solar sectors is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in leading BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with ETL processes and database management.
- Knowledge of Python or R is a plus but not required.
- Relevant certifications in BI tools (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate Tableau Desktop Specialist).
