Job Description
Title: Solution Architect Java to AWS cloud migration. Must have Java experience.
Location: Omaha Ne. Onsite
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 36 month contract to hire ( see that you dont have a transition fee).
Visa: USC/GC/ EAD GC
Client: Insurance industry
Skills: Java AWS Application Migration
Role Requirements:
Skills:
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages like Java TypeScript JavaScript Python bash scripts and Groovy with a focus on fullstack development.
- Mastery of Domain Driven Design and microservice architecture including REST API design Eventdriven architecture Service Oriented Architecture C4 Modeling containerized workloads (e.g. Docker) and database design.
- Handson experience with ReactJS (preferred) or AngularJS and modern Java.
- Skilled in cloudnative architecture and design in AWS.
- Strong knowledge of eventdriven architecture using AWS SQS/SNS Kafka or similar platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies like Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Scrum XP or Kanban.
- Salesforce integration experience is helpful.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline with 12 years of total IT experience OR Masters Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline with 10 years of total IT experience.
- Insurance Industry knowledge.
