Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Coordination: Assist the Purchase Manager in planning and executing procurement strategies to meet the organizations needs. Collaborate with various departments to identify
  • purchasing requirements and develop appropriate procurement plans.
  • Vendor Management: Source evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain and compare quotes negotiate prices and terms of agreements to secure the best value for the organization.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Create and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that purchase orders are properly documented and approved according to company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control to avoid shortages and overstock situations. Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure smooth and efficient stock management.
  • Quality Control: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that purchased goods and services meet the required quality standards. Address any qualityrelated issues with suppliers promptly.
  • Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize costs and improve purchasing
  • processes. Implement costsaving initiatives while maintaining the quality of products and services.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role preferably in the industry/sector.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes vendor management and supply chain concepts.
  • Pro ciency in using procurement software and tools is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with inventory management principles.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct in all purchasing activities.
  • BTech Mechanical/ Electrical Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Supply Chain Management.
