Job Description
Job Title: Event Monitoring Engineer (Sr. Systems Engineer)
Client: Health Care Insurance Company
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Baltimore MD 21224
Job Description:
- Monitor enterprisewide systems applications and critical processes using Dynatrace and other tools.
- Improve processes identify inefficiencies and document procedures.
- Requires flexible shift work in a 24/7 operation; can be fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Perform eyesonglass monitoring using Dynatrace.
- Coordinate critical business processes for efficiency.
- Conduct system health checks and manage event responses.
- Author reports and participate in incident reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of systems engineering experience 2 years in NOC/TOC roles.
- Proficiency in Dynatrace and performance monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Splunk SCOM or SolarWinds.
- Background in process management or ServiceNow.
Education: Bachelors Degree
In Lieu of Education: Additional 4 years of relevant work experience.
Licenses/Certifications: ITIL Foundations v3 within 180 Days preferred
