Job Description

Job Title: Event Monitoring Engineer (Sr. Systems Engineer)

Client: Health Care Insurance Company

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Baltimore MD 21224

Job Description:

  • Monitor enterprisewide systems applications and critical processes using Dynatrace and other tools.
  • Improve processes identify inefficiencies and document procedures.
  • Requires flexible shift work in a 24/7 operation; can be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform eyesonglass monitoring using Dynatrace.
  • Coordinate critical business processes for efficiency.
  • Conduct system health checks and manage event responses.
  • Author reports and participate in incident reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of systems engineering experience 2 years in NOC/TOC roles.
  • Proficiency in Dynatrace and performance monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Splunk SCOM or SolarWinds.
  • Background in process management or ServiceNow.

Education: Bachelors Degree

In Lieu of Education: Additional 4 years of relevant work experience.

Licenses/Certifications: ITIL Foundations v3 within 180 Days preferred
