Financial Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely payments and collections.
Assist in the preparation of invoices and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Bank Reconciliations:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Monitor bank deposits and payments.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
Support the Senior Accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Payroll Processing:
Assist in processing payroll by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Data Entry and Documentation:
Handle data entry tasks and ensure data accuracy.
Maintain organized and updated financial files and records.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of accounting experience and tax submissions.
