Sales Trading (Fixed Income) & Fund Capital Raising Role - London

This firm offers ingenious solutions to effectively price and trade illiquid assets, including distressed debt and credit securities.

Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Executing sales trades in the fixed income market, focusing on illiquid assets such as distressed debt and credit securities.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with institutional clients, professional investors, and high net worth individuals to facilitate sales trading activities.
  • Identifying opportunities for fund capital raising and pitching investment strategies to prospective clients.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide advisory services on trading, settlement, and corporate restructuring within illiquid and distressed markets.
  • Providing market insights and analysis to clients, guiding them on investment decisions and portfolio management strategies.
  • Staying abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to enhance client service and drive business growth.
Here are the skills you'll need:
  • Proven experience in sales trading within the fixed income market, with a focus on illiquid assets, preferably 3-5 years in finance.
  • Strong network of institutional clients, professional investors, and high net worth individuals within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts and strategies effectively.
  • Strategic mindset and business acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to sales trading and fund capital raising activities.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CFA, Series 7, Series 63) preferred.
