Job Description

Position: Territory Manager/ (Sr. Outside Sales Representative)

Location: CAONIngersoll Remote

Position Type: Regular FullTime

Hours: MondayFriday 8am5pm

Overview:

Only considering candidates based in Canada. This is a remote position but requires travel to the Ingersoll office and other locations for onsite meetings and for customer visits/tours.

Travel within sales territory to develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales. Monitors the companys industry competitors new products and market conditions to understand customers specific needs.

Required:

  • Flat roll experience refers to a type of processed metal that is generated via melting and stretching under an applied force. This force is used to create metal pieces in the form of sheets strip or tin plates.
  • Experience in the Steel Sales Industry ONLY.
  • Ideal candidate would be between 3540 years old

Responsibilities:

Develops new sales leads and effectively demonstrates how products can meet customer needs.

Overcomes sales obstacles and objections to ensure ongoing territorial expansion.

Forecasts the sales book and inventory purchases accurately.

Conducts onsite sales presentations to potential and existing customers identifying opportunities to apply products innovatively.

Establishes and maintains professional relationships with customers across various organizational levels gaining comprehensive knowledge of their requirements and our product offerings.

Expands existing customer accounts by introducing new products and solutions.

Focuses on sales opportunities that maximize gross profit for the company.

Collaborates with inventory and material management to meet specific customer needs.

Educates customers with marketrelevant information to facilitate informed business decisions.

Upholds quality service standards by adhering to company policies and procedures.

Contributes to the sales teams success by meeting or exceeding established sales inventory management and profitability goals.

Continuously enhances sales skills and product knowledge through ongoing education and training initiatives.

Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication skills.

5 years of related experience

ERP experience an asset

Experience & Education:

Associate degree or equivalent with 35 years of demonstrated successful sales experience with at least 1 year in metal sales.
