Our Supply Chain IT Hardware Buyer will be a team member of the Technology and Professional Services team.
Looking for a Procurement Specialist to help source IT hardware across our manufacturing facilities offices & operations in the Americas.
This will include IT hardware including servers networking storage and desktoprelated equipment.
In addition to sourcing the equipment youll be intricately involved in raising purchase orders coordinating logistics negotiating and redlining contracts.
Key Skills and Experience:
02 years of relevant professional experience. Special attention will go to those who specifically have purchased IT Hardware & IT Infrastructure technology
Experience working in HW procurement in a fastpaced environment
Strong background in Excel knowledge of RFQ and ordering processes and experience negotiating with suppliers
Highly detailoriented and organized
Excellent communicator; describes detailed problems with brevity and accuracy
Selfstarter who can manage several deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Team player who enjoys collaborating with others
The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written skills and solid communication skills
You will support the overall procurement organizations strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved to include delivery of production materials that are on time within budget and meet technical performance requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management Supply Chain Management Engineering or related industry experience
Level 2 Role Requires 2 years of experience
Strong analytical skills datadriven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics
Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department
Must have topnotch people and communication skills
Maintains passion for solving problems from endtoend
Track record of working in an ambiguous environment and ability to define processes that can scale
Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
