Mandatory Skills - Bachelor of Engineering degree.
- 25 years proven experience in a Quality Engineer role in a production environment.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 QM System and/or related quality systems and programs.
- Ability to support manufacturing schedules (first or second shift) and overtime on as needed basis.
- Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired: - American Society of Quality Certified Quality Engineer certification
- Experience in Aerospace space launch and military/commercial aviation is highly preferred.
- Experience with IPC JSTD001 (Space Addendum)
- Experience with IPC 620 standard (IPCWHMAA620)
- Experience in GD&T fundamentals
- Experience with quality tools such as Lean principles Six Sigma root cause analysis and corrective action
- Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP) process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA) control plans and various problem solving approaches
- Quality Management System audit experience
- Quality performance measurement analysis capabilities
- Six Sigma Green Black Belt or comparable certification
