Overview

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop detailed 3D models of MEP systems using Revit software.
• Produce accurate MEP clash detection reports and coordinate with the design team to resolve clashes.
• Producing Shop Drawings
• Review architectural and structural models to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and client specifications.
• Participate in project coordination meetings to discuss BIMrelated issues and provide feasible solutions.
• Work closely with the team to implement BIM models for accurate installation and fabrication of MEP systems.
• Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards and protocols within the organization.
• Train and mentor junior BIM modelers on best practices and techniques for MEP modeling.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and methods to enhance modeling and coordination practices.
• Training and advising junior staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) as a BIM modeler with a focus on MEP systems.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software for MEP coordination and modeling.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their integration within complex construction projects.
• Experience in using Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications and design intent.
• Indepth understanding of building codes standards and regulations related to MEP systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Capability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines.
• Certification in BIMrelated software or professional associations (e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
