About the job

We are looking for a Business Support Specialist for our Financial department.

The Financial department within BYD Europe is responsible for financial planning financial reporting and analysis budget control operational support and business support.
The main objective of the financial department is to ensure stable financial operations and provide supervision and support for business.

The Business Support Specialist reports directly to theHead of Financial Department

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for issuing invoices including confirming and reviewing PI/SO/SI accuracy transmitting invoices and managing billing based on credit limits.
  • Keep records of the invoices and tax payments.
  • Match invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices.
  • Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy.
  • Assist in the production of financial statements and applications preparation of spreadsheets reports and correspondence as required.
  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
  • Answers questions and provides assistance to stakeholders customers and clients as needed.
  • Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy efficiency and cost reductions.
  • Participate in reviewing finance related policies and procedures.
  • Support to handle parts of audit report if required.

    Required skills qualifications and experience

    • MBO or HBO education in finance accounting economics or another related area;
    • 23 years of working experience in a similar role;
    • Knowledge and understanding of corporate finance functions and procedures;
    • Advanced spoken and written English.Being able to speak Chinese is a plus.
    • Proficient with MS Office (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint);
    • SAP user experience will be an asset;
    • Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills;
    • Detail oriented and good with analyzing large data.
    • Able to work under pressure and handle multitasks;
