ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Junior System Engineerin thededicated team at Qvantum you will play an important role in the continuous development of their advanced heat pump systems. Your primary focus will be on the heat pump system and the implementation aspects of the product ensuring it integrates seamlessly with various applications. You will oversee different stages of product development maintaining a balance between all requirements while adhering to legislation regulation and industry standards. Your technical expertise and support to both internal and external stakeholders will be invaluable to meet the customer expectations of Qvantum.

Your daytoday responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Assist in the continuous technical development of heat pump systems focusing on implementation and application aspects.
  • Support the work of dimensioning components conducting lab tests and developing verification plans to rapidly verify ideas.
  • Help analyze test results to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Ensure that the systems meet customers needs and standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the internal team.
  • Collaborate closely with external component suppliers.
  • Stay updated with industry standards as well as legislative regulations and explore functional opportunities.

WHO ARE YOU

We are looking for a motivated system engineering candidate. The ideal candidate has a foundational knowledge of refrigeration circuits and systems fluid mechanics thermodynamics and heat transfer. This role is perfect for you who are driven proactive and eager to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

We are specifically looking for the following:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Physics Engineering or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge in refrigeration fluid mechanics thermodynamics and heat transfer preferably as applied to refrigeration circuits and systems.
  • Familiarity with the specification calculation design and testing of products and components in a massproduction setting.
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Appreciation for a dynamic organizational scaleup phase where flexibility and initiative are paramount.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
