Mechanical Design Engineer - NOV Inc

SUMMARY:

Mechanical engineer who is obtained bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. The candidate can understand and deal with mechanical equipment knowledge and able to interpret drawings and diagrams. The minimum year of experience is two years in related field.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of MTO LAY SCH for lowpressure HighPressure piping.
• Preparation of calculation Pipe Wall Thickness Sizing Pump sizing.
• Knowledge about piping standards and codes (ASME B31.3 ASME B16.5 etc)
• Basic knowledge about rotary and static equipment Piping material grades Valve specs.
• Basic knowledge of land rigs.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and layouts.
• Give direction to designers and draftsmen.
• Ability to communicate effectively to other departments (i.e. operations SCM sales I&C production QA/QC) Customers & SubContractors.
• Ability to review vendor quotes.
• Ability to visit rig to perform onboard surveys and prepare reports.
• Knowledge with ACAD SolidWorks is preferred.
• Perform other workrelated task as assigned.
• Comply with all ARM HSE procedures and policies

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Mechanical Equipment knowledge able to read and interpret drawings and diagrams.
