Our customerNorthvolt is seeking a Workplace Coordinator for a consultancy assignment with an immediate start which will eventually transition into a permanent position. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to our rapidly growing operations.
Job Description
As a Workplace Coordinator you will be responsible for greeting and assisting guests and visitors managing visitor registration for security and ensuring compliance with our security policies. You will maintain cleanliness and order in the entry area to create a welcoming and professional first impression.
You will provide firstline support for Jira issues by assigning monitoring and escalating issues as needed. Additionally you will assist with meeting and conference preparations and provide technical support for A/V equipment.
Your role will also include floor coordination where you will be responsible for checking and maintaining inventory levels ensuring office supplies are adequately stocked and keeping documentation up to date. You will implement and maintain 5S standards in welfare areas and review and improve these processes.
Maintenance coordination is another important aspect of your role. You will create track and follow up on maintenance requests coordinate with maintenance teams and regularly inspect facilities for maintenance needs.
As a communication link between departments you will communicate with staff management and service providers as well as handle and resolve floorrelated issues. You will also maintain health and safety standards by conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Skills and Attributes
We are looking for someone who is not afraid to act quickly and efficiently to handle tasks and issues. You have a strong work ethic and a dedication to completing tasks to a high standard. With a positive and proactive approach to problemsolving and new challenges you are always ready to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations and requirements.
You have strong communication skills and can communicate effectively with staff visitors and service providers. Your organizational skills help you maintain cleanliness manage inventories and handle documentation. Additionally you have good problemsolving skills and can quickly handle and resolve issues as they arise.
Technical proficiency particularly familiarity with task management systems like Jira and basic A/V equipment is necessary. You are flexible and can handle changing priorities and unexpected tasks. Awareness of health and safety standards and regulations is important as is the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently. We value initiative and a willingness to go the extra mile to complete tasks.
