Job Description

Are you passionate about automotive engineering and ready to make an impact in the development of cuttingedge engine components Our clientsSensor & Intake team is seeking a dedicated Component Responsible to join the team in advancing Diesel and Petrol applications including hybrid drivetrains. As part of the team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the air induction systems belt covers cable ducts support brackets NVH encapsulation and various sensors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee engine components throughout development production and aftermarket phases.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project deliveries.
  • Evaluate concepts in the early project phase considering technology risk and cost.
  • Manage both technical aspects and supplier coordination including creating time plans and reporting progress.
  • Ensure integration and packing of concepts into the final product.
  • Lead design work for buildtoprint articles and coordinate with suppliers on design requirements.
  • Define testing criteria and oversee virtual and physical verification processes.
  • Prepare for production start ensuring manufacturing readiness and documentation compliance.
  • Act as the point of contact for technical solutions and quality issues postproduction start.
  • Review and support supplierowned designs to meet our requirements.
  • Participate in package and design review meetings reporting progress and highlighting issues.
  • Lead the sourcing process and define component requirements.
  • Maintain close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders including manufacturing SQA procurement and test engineers.
  • Keep systems updated with the latest time plans models prints and deviations.

Requirements:

  • Technical education at the university level.
  • Automotive development experience particularly in ICE development is beneficial.
  • Experience working with plastic components is a significant plus.
  • BDrivers license (meritorious).
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter (meritorious) and Catia V5.
  • Knowledge of KDP is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish is meritorious.
