Job Description

The director of the Project Management Office (PMO) in our international group with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector is a strategic leader and a key facilitator for the success in delivering our projects and services. The PMO director is responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of methodologies and standards specific to project management in the telecommunications sector. Tasks

Lead the PMO: Supervise and direct all activities of the Project Management Office ensuring they align with our vision of being a leading partner in the telecommunications sector.

Develop methodologies and standards: Design and establish specific project management methodologies and standards for the telecommunications sector to ensure consistency and efficiency in project execution.

Project Management: Oversee and coordinate key projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the required quality standards. Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may affect project execution.

Resource and Allocation Management: Manage and optimize resource allocation for projects ensuring teams have the right talent and necessary resources for project success.

Client Communication: Establish effective communication with clients understanding their needs and expectations and ensuring projects and services align with their objectives.

Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organization.

Reporting and Monitoring: Prepare regular reports on project progress and present them to senior management and clients providing visibility and transparency on project status.

Requirements

Requirements of the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO):

Experience and Knowledge: Extensive experience in project management in the telecommunications sector and a deep understanding of project management practices and methodologies. Preferably with a background in telecommunications engineering or industrial engineering.
