This position is located at PolestarHQ in Gothenburg.
What youll do
The rolereports to theHead of Financial Reporting & Control. AsDirectorGroup Accountingyou are responsible for a team of around22peopleand3direct reports. The role ispart ofacomplex matrix organisationwithin a USlistedcompanyconsisting of some 25companies world wideand a parent company in the UK.
Responsibility:
Overall responsibility forgroup accounting groupfinancialreporting andconsolidationincludingmonth end closing deliveries & reports to the CFO and shareholders
Leading2teams:thegroup accounting/consolidation teamand the accounting team responsible for the largest Swedish entity in the Polestar Group
Overseeing the quarterly reporting deliveries includingfootnotesand associated monthly and quarterly SOX controls
Implementation of accounting outcomes from the technical financial reporting team
Monitoring equity levels in standalone legal entities; input into covenant compliance process
Overseeing and monitoring the deliveries fromthe accountingshared service centre
Providingleadership and guidance toaccounting teamsand supportingtheir professional development
Foster a positive work environment and promote open communication and collaboration
Who you are
Experience and knowledge:
Proven leadership experience leading teams and team leaders
Proven experience asgroupaccountingdirectorsenioraccountingmanager or similar at an international company
Solid experience from globaland listed companies
Experience from managing a team of similar size andstructure
Broad knowledge and experience of Group Accounting and Financial Control processes and systems in an international context with IFRSSOX experience is a plus
University degree in Business Administration Finance Accounting or equivalent

Strong leadership and organizational skills
