Major Duties:
This position is responsible for the oversight of all nursing services delivered within the Voluntary and Involuntary inpatient population. The Director of Nursing will organize direct supervise and evaluate all nursing staff working to improve medical outcomes and the quality of medical services provided. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating medical services with program directors and other necessary personnel.
• Aiding in the development of new programs.
• Reviewing and revising medical policies and procedures as needed.
• Ensuring the maintenance of records and reports concerning all patient care delivered.
• Directing orientation training supervision and retention of nurses.
• Assisting with physicians schedules to ensure daily coverage.
• Completing rounds of the facilities to ensure compliance with all policies procedures and regulations.
• Providing 24hour oncall availability for critical incidents and emergencies.
• Supervising LPNs RNs and MA/CNAs.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• BSN in Nursing is required.
• Registered in WA as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Previous experience with behavioural health populations is required.
