Physical Therapist Assistant Hospital Acute

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA). We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Frederick MD 21701

Assignment Start Date: 6/7/2024

13 weeks Days 8or10hour shift 40 hours weekly

This is a Fulltime Physical Therapist Assistant position with full and competitive benefits.

The responsibilities:

• Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans for patients
• Document progress toward identified objectives
• Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department.
• Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication
• Conduct patient and family education
• Display strong skills in flexibility time management and communication

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• At least one (1) year of hospital acute experience is required
• New graduates with strong acute clinical rotations will be considered

Education:

• A degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE is required

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Current state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy in Maryland
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association

Shift: Monday Friday (for example 8 am4 pm)

Weekend Requirement: One Weekend Day per month

Holiday Requirement: One Major and One Minor holiday

EMR System: Meditech or other EMR experience is necessary

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Will display strong skills in flexibility time management leadership and communication
• Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence
