Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud data architect with expertise in Azure to join our dynamic team. As a cloud data architect you will play a crucial role in designing implementing and managing our data architecture in Azure cloud environment. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams of data scientists and data engineers to ensure that our data solutions align with business objectives and innovation.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of data solutions in Azure and develop scalable and highperformance data architecture to deliver the latest in machine learning AI and other emerging technology solutions.

Utilize Azure cloud resources efficiently to ensure cost effective solutions.

Provide technical vision technical solutions and directions to build modern Machine Learning Platforms Tooling and Services for ML/AI at Scale.

Integrate data from various sources both onpremises and in the cloud and design efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.

Develop strategies for handling large volumes of streaming data while maintaining low latency and high availability.

Support the endtoend implementation of machine learning models. Optimize data structures and schemas for efficient data processing.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data engineers data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.

Maintain detailed documentation of data architecture solutions and processes. Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices.

Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the data solutions. Implement performance tuning and data caching strategies.

Keeping up to date with the latest Azure cloud technologies and best practices and recommend and implement relevant technologies and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.

5 years of experience in an architecture or engineering role focusing on machine learning models and deploying them into production at scale.

Expertise in Python and SQL with working experience in Apache Spark Hadoop Databricks Snowflake or other big data systems

Experience working with DevOps on prem or in cloud environments including but not limited to Deep understanding of compute storage networking Docker/Containers Kubernetes cloud APIs and IaaS

Experience with orchestration frameworks.

Strong problemsolving skills and troubleshooting abilities.

Selfmotivated individual that thrives in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:

Experience working with designing and implementing data pipelines for realtime data ingestion processing and analytics using Azure services (e.g. Azure Stream Analytics Azure Event Hubs Azure Databricks Azure Functions).

Azure certifications (e.g. Microsoft certified: Azure Data Engineer Azure Solutions Architect)
